ApartmentAdda is excited to announce the release of a much requested feature &#8211; &#8220;<strong>SubGroups&#8221;<\/strong>. Now you can create a special interest SubGroup, invite members, and discuss among yourselves without flooding the inbox of your entire community.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/adda.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/Screenshot1.png\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1016 aligncenter\" title=\"Screenshot of SubGroups\" src=\"https:\/\/adda.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/Screenshot1.png\" alt=\"Screenshot of SubGroups\" width=\"570\" height=\"547\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Each SubGroup gets an email address<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You are already used to the unique Adda style forum. Now we have extended it to the SubGroups also. Each SubGroup gets a full-fledged forum. The threads are trimmed from growing very long ( only the top 3 posts and the first post are shown in the email ), posts are numbered, they are color coded and support attachments.<\/p>\n<p>Some examples of SubGroup Email Addresses ( for Sharlow Apartments ) :<\/p>\n<p>Chess-Sharlow-forum@apartmentadda.com<br \/>\nGardening-Sharlow-forum@apartmentadda.com<br \/>\nCycling-Sharlow-forum@apartmentadda.com<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Restricted SubGroups<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong>You can mark a SubGroup as restricted &#8211; the discussions are not visible to others, and to join a SubGroup, the request has to be approved by the SubGroup&#8217;s moderator.<\/p>\n<p>Also, the Sub-Committees can now create a SubGroup for themselves like :<\/p>\n<p>Culturals-Sharlow-forum@apartmentadda.com<br \/>\nConserve-Sharlow-forum@apartmentadda.com<\/p>\n<p>Note : The Association Committee already has a dedicated forum for themselves ( Sharlow-adminforum@apartmentadda.com ).<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. New Realtime Notification Setting for SubGroups<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Along with Real-time Notification Settings for Forum and Real-time Notification for documents,notices and polls &#8211; now you have the option of turning on or off the SubGroup messages.<\/p>\n<p>Go Ahead.
