You do have the right to install an EV charging station as a resident, and more and more government regulations are supporting this right. This is all the information you require.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%F0%9F%9A%97_The_Significance_of_Home_Charging\"><\/span>\ud83d\ude97 The Significance of Home Charging<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In the world, more than 80% of EV charging takes place at home. It&#8217;s the most practical, economical, and secure method of charging for the majority of people. These have been included in the development control regulations of states such as Karnataka and Maharashtra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (2024):<\/strong> As long as load requirements are fulfilled, residents may install EV chargers using their home electricity connection.
