As promised by\u00a0BBMP while releasing its online Property Tax Calculator, it\u00a0has\u00a0now taken\u00a0the payment of Property Tax online! Which means you can pay the property tax for 2009-2010 right from the comfort of your keyboard, using your credit card, and without paying any transaction charge!<\/p>\n

The process was tried by ADDA team and found to be very simple:<\/p>\n

1. Go to the link: http:\/\/218.248.41.198\/<\/a><\/p>\n

2. Click on the relevant form – Form IV\u00a0 or Form V<\/p>\n

3. For Form IV (no changes from previous year), you are taken\u00a0to a page where you need to enter SAS 2008-2009 Application No.<\/p>\n

4. On clicking ‘Continue’, you come to the page where rest of the form can be filled in. The tax gets automatically calculated in this form. After filling the form you have the choice to make Online Payment which takes you to an IDBI payment gateway. Visa and Mastercard creditcards can be used and email address has to be provided.<\/p>\n

That’s that! A pdf receipt is generated which you can print, the same receipt is also sent to the email address. You can also get the Original Signed Receipt from the ARO’s office on producing the Online Payment Receipt.<\/p>\n

This indeed is a\u00a0praiseworthy service from BBMP!<\/p>\n

Note: When processing form IV for 09-10, note that one default popup appears about a ward mismatch. As long as you have entered your application number correctly, click on submit again and you will be taken to the filled up form IV.
