A ‘gated’ community is defined by its gate (s). Needless to say Management Committees of Associations take the security of their gates very seriously.
There are multiple registers maintained – for Domestic Staff, for Door Delivery Vendors, and for all other Visitors. Entry and Exits are listed in this Register, the visitor is verified by making an Intercom call with the Resident, and in some cases the visitor slip/badge is issued.
There are inherent difficulties in the entering, storing and mining of this information, which turn more troublesome in proportion to the size of the complex. All our large customers have frequently expressed their need for a ‘Visitor Management’ system integrated with their Adda.

The Visitor Management System tracks the Entry and Exit of Visitors & Staff.
Entering the Staff Data is a 2-click process. The Staff badge Number has to be selected from the dropdown (integrated with Staff Manager), and the staff’s information gets automatically populated, along with the photo. The Security personnel then just clicks on ‘Check In’. This automatically becomes the Attendance tracker.
For the Visitor all data is entered, reason for visit can be chosen from pre-configured set. Unlimited number of visit reasons can be configured, e.g., Personal Visit, Door Delivery, Association Supplies etc.
For Exit of the Staff, a similar pre-configured Reasons list can be utilized. E.g., Shift Ended, Refreshment Break, Lunch Break, etc.
The complete application has been kept extremely simple on the premise that security personnel will be the regular users. The reports generated from the Application are rich and flexible.
This application is integrated with the Residents’ database and the Staff database. It has open scope for integration with various identity recognition hardware, that may come in near future!

What are the reports that can be generated?
Yes, the interface is a highly guided one, with dropdowns in most places (e.g. flat number, purpose of visit etc.).
The reports available are optimal – visitor log, number & details of visitors in the campus at any given time etc. They will be enhanced further with user feedback.
Currently, i can able to add owners email and also add other family member details. Will it be possible to maintain more than one email ID per family / owner?
Yes you can have more than one email Id for a flat. Each email address is a distinct account and has to be approved by the ADDA moderator.
