ADDA’s Rise High Awards recognizes and celebrates Community initiatives that stand out and inspire us to do more. One such category of initiatives is the Welfare of Pets and Other Animals. Here’s a throwback to some of the nominations we received in this category.

Bren Paddington
Bren Paddington is a 250-unit Community that has opened its doors to not only Residents but also Pets!
- No restrictions: Pets and animals can move around freely within the Community. This allows animals to play around and be active in a safe space.
- Bren Paddington’s Dog Shelter is also home to a few neighborhood stray dogs.
Brigade Metropolis
Brigade Metropolis, a 1500+ unit Bangalorean Community, has set a shining example for us all through Pawsitive Brigade, a voluntary group created by its Residents to ensure the welfare of their pets!
- The group feeds about 300 stray dogs every day!
- Pet health drives: More than 100 dogs and 15 cats have been vaccinated and sterilized by the group
- The group supports and houses sick or special needs animals while also trying to get them fostered or adopted
- Emphasis on road safety – volunteers are equipped with first aid boxes in case of an accident and the Pets always wear reflective collars!

Total Environment Scarlet Begonias
With more than 100 dogs as a part of their extended Community and more than a decade’s experience, Scarlet Begonias serves as a model in Pet health and parenting. The community has undertaken important health procedures such as vaccination and sterilization for Pets within and outside the Community and initiated their adoption.
The Five Summit Address
A 200+ unit Pet-friendly Community, The Five Summit Address doesn’t just have a separate Pet Zone, but in fact it has a separate feeding zone for cats!
- The Community celebrates the quarterly birthdays of Pets!
- The Community actively participates in NGO activities towards the rescue and treatment of dogs
- The Community regularly hosts workshops to improve Resident and Pet harmony
